Turtle steps

I’m inadvertently having one of those days wherein you feel like the world is going to swallow you whole and it just so happens you’re at the office…. working on your computer for the nth week in a row. And then, flashback. (or as I fondly call it, backflash)

April 08

My baptism of fire. My first time ever to handle a 2 hour coaching session. It was… an experience that hopefully, never happens again (which I doubt).

My PC died. Wiping out my entire existence in this company. Well, not exactly but you see, I archive everything. Again. EVERYTHING. So after I was told there was nothing that could be done to retrieve any of my files, I felt numb and I almost cried. (Take note: almost) They took one look at me and said they’ll still try. (I guess I still have some drama left it in me) They were able to retrieve several files from 2003-2006 (which is practically useless) but at least, they tried and I moved on feeling the entire ordeal was all therapeutic (to help me cope) and then I continued my fresh start with my good for nothing newly re imaged PC.

I had to let go of Bogart. I know. It’s sad but, his time was up. And as you know in fashion, one day you’re in and the next day you’re out!

I finally completed creating the Six Sigma inspired course. Yey! and I realized that after 30 long years of existence… I still hate math but I also know that it’s not going away so I might as well hate it while I still can.
